Konke Ngcameva began her studies at Simon’s Town High School Lawhill Maritime Centre (“Lawhill”) at the start of her Grade 10 year in 2025.  She is originally from KwaDabeka in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, located close to the Futuregrowth Community Property Fund owned Bridge City Shopping Centre.
