William Brooks
William started his career in international banking working for Chase Manhattan Bank, Rand Merchant Bank, ABN AMRO Bank and ANZ Banking Group in South Africa, Europe and Asia. In 2003 William returned to South Africa to start his own business in commercial property. William holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree from the University of Cape Town and completed the Asian International Executive Program at Insead Singapore in 2002. William founded Capital Land and Synergy Income Fund Limited. William is also a founding director of the Rialto Project.
Anton Raubenheimer
Anton is a qualified Chartered Accountant and completed his articles at Deloitte & Touche Johannesburg. Prior to joining Capital Land, Anton was Managing Director of Retail Africa Asset Management. Before this, he was Managing Director and Financial Director of Fountainhead Property Trust and head of business development for Virgin Active South Africa. Anton holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA) from the University of Cape Town. Anton is a founding director of the Rialto Project.
Tess Benzie
Tess is a qualified Chartered Accountant and completed her articles at KPMG in Cape Town. Shortly after joining Capital Land from KPMG Tess assumed responsibility for all financial administration in respect to the assembly and listing of Synergy Income Fund on the Main Board of the JSE in 2011. Tess holds a Bachelor of Business Science (Hon) degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA) from the University of Cape Town.
Paul Rackstraw
Paul is the Managing Director of Futuregrowth Asset Management and chair of the Executive Committee. Paul is a qualified Chartered Accountant. After completing his articles at Ernst and Young in 1987, he became a founding member of GRP Consulting, a financial services consulting company. In 1990, he joined Southern Life as the Financial Audit Manager before moving to the corporate finance area where he became Head of Corporate Finance. He was integrally involved in the financial aspects of the merger of Southern Life and Momentum Life where he became the chief accountant of the merged entity. Paul joined Futuregrowth in May 2000 as Chief Operating Officer and was later appointed as the Managing Director.
Inka Brooks
Inka started her career working for The Hans Merensky Foundation in the development of their local product market. After some time in Switzerland, she returned to South Africa and started her own below-the-line advertising agency in the sports sector. The family moved to Asia for several years and upon returning to South Africa in 2003, she once again started her own company splitting her time between advertising and starting a new career in property investment.
Lindsay Cilliers
Lindsay is responsible for all investment advisory services for Capital Land and our clients and manages the financial analysis functions for all acquisitions and disposals. Lindsay is a qualified Chartered Accountant and completed her articles at KPMG in Cape Town. Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Business Science (Hon) degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA) from the University of Cape Town.
Robyn Gedrych
Robyn manages all media and promotions, marketing functions and the implementation of all CSI programmes for Capital Land and its clients. Prior to her appointment in September 2011, she worked for a Cape Town-based leisure group where she gained valuable experience in marketing and communications. Robyn holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Philosophy, Politics and Economics) degree from the University of Cape Town.
Janine Jepthas
Janine is responsible for lease renewals and the management of tenant relationships for Capital Land and our clients. Janine has over eight years experience in leasing which she gained through leasing positions held at Eris Property Group, Old Mutual, Fairvest Property Holdings and Camstone Asset Managers.
