William started his career in international banking working for Chase Manhattan Bank, Rand Merchant Bank, ABN AMRO Bank and ANZ Banking Group in South Africa, Europe and Asia. In 2003 William returned to South Africa to start his own business in commercial property. William holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree from the University of Cape Town and completed the Asian International Executive Program at Insead Singapore in 2002. William founded Capital Land and Synergy Income Fund Limited. William is also a founding director of the Rialto Project.
Anton is a qualified Chartered Accountant and completed his articles at Deloitte & Touche Johannesburg. Prior to joining Capital Land, Anton was Managing Director of Retail Africa Asset Management. Before this, he was Managing Director and Financial Director of Fountainhead Property Trust and head of business development for Virgin Active South Africa. Anton holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA) from the University of Cape Town. Anton is a founding director of the Rialto Project.
Paul is the Managing Director of Futuregrowth Asset Management and chair of the Executive Committee. Paul is a qualified Chartered Accountant. After completing his articles at Ernst and Young in 1987, he became a founding member of GRP Consulting, a financial services consulting company. In 1990, he joined Southern Life as the Financial Audit Manager before moving to the corporate finance area where he became Head of Corporate Finance. He was integrally involved in the financial aspects of the merger of Southern Life and Momentum Life where he became the chief accountant of the merged entity. Paul joined Futuregrowth in May 2000 as Chief Operating Officer and was later appointed as the Managing Director. Paul is a founding director of the Rialto Project.
Tess is a qualified Chartered Accountant and completed her articles at KPMG in Cape Town. Shortly after joining Capital Land from KPMG Tess assumed responsibility for all financial administration in respect to the assembly and listing of Synergy Income Fund on the Main Board of the JSE in 2011. Tess holds a Bachelor of Business Science (Hon) degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA) from the University of Cape Town.
Brad founded and owns Sporting Chance, one of South Africa’s leading sport coaching and development organisations. Brad pioneered the sport coaching programmes that are very successful today, and was at the forefront of research into childhood obesity in South Africa, which has led to many wellness initiatives being introduced throughout the country. He has also been responsible for introducing sport to tens of thousands of township children and launched Calypso Cricket in 1991. He has travelled extensively, coaching and playing professional cricket in England for ten years and visiting the West Indies to study the Calypso concept. He served on the Executive, Transformation and Cricket committees of the Western Province Cricket Association for 15 years. Brad is a Life Member of Claremont Cricket Club, an Honorary Vice President of False Bay Rugby Club, Chairman of the Noordhoek Ratepayers Association and received recognition from the City of Cape Town for his service to the community. Sporting Chance is supported by many Government departments at local, provincial and national level, is part of Cricket South Africa’s cricket pipeline and has the backing of many of South Africa’s most prolific sportspeople.
Len graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Mechanical Engineering Degree. After some time spent in the mining environment, he returned to Cape Town to pursue an entrepreneurial career. He currently runs the engineering company Fluid Solutions and is chairman of Hidrostal SA, a Swiss-owned company involved in water treatment and conveyance in Southern Africa. Apart from his engineering interests, Len has had diverse involvement in both sport and culture. He founded Cape Town Concert Brass, a charitable music group of 20 years, is a Trustee of the St Georges Singers Trust and the Musical Academy of St Andrews. He also served for a period on the Board of Trialogue, a consultancy focused on corporate responsibility.
Inka started her career working for The Hans Merensky Foundation in the development of their local product market. After some time in Switzerland, she returned to South Africa and started her own below-the-line advertising agency in the sports sector. The family moved to Asia for several years and upon returning to South Africa in 2003, she once again started her own company splitting her time between advertising and starting a new career in property investment.
Stephanie is a qualified Solicitor in England and Wales, United Kingdom and is responsible for managing the leasing and legal departments at Capital Land. Prior to joining Capital Land, Stephanie worked as a Senior Litigation Solicitor for the UK law firm GMS Law. Stephanie graduated from The University of Reading with a degree in Law, LLB (Hons) and thereafter studied her post graduate qualification in Law, LPC at The University of Law, Guildford, Surrey.
Lindsay is responsible for all investment advisory services for Capital Land and our clients and manages the financial analysis functions for all acquisitions and disposals. Lindsay is a qualified Chartered Accountant and completed her articles at KPMG in Cape Town. Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Business Science (Hon) degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA) from the University of Cape Town.
Robyn manages all media and promotions, marketing functions and the implementation of all CSI programmes for Capital Land and its clients. Prior to her appointment in September 2011, she worked for a Cape Town-based leisure group where she gained valuable experience in marketing and communications. Robyn holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Philosophy, Politics and Economics) degree from the University of Cape Town.
